Ask and You Shall Receive

Psalm 111:10

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding.

Everyday the Lord shows me something new to do.  He put on my heart to ask for a mentor and he blessed with several people to talk with. He reminds me of my faults and gently corrects me.

I woke up today thinking about integrity.  I am an honest person but when I get upset I can be outspoken with my honesty.  I am reading a book right now for my “Better moms book club” called “Keep it shut” by Karen Ehman.  It is about what to say, how to say it and when to say nothing at all.  I am just getting started but I will share its perspectives as I read through it later.

My integrity is important to me as it should be to everyone but many times our pride gets in the way.  When someone questions your integrity go back and check your intentions.  We may have good intentions but we are human and we are going to mess up.  Having integrity comes with owning up to it your mistakes and that is the toughest part.

We will always make mistakes, no matter how intelligent you think you are; you are still human.
