Have you ever had everything in your life slowly stripped away or even all at once? Ending up at rock bottom with no job, no car, no money, no pride is tough to face and all that you have is a room that your family lets you stay in. Well this happened to me and if it has happen to you then you know how it feels. What I have learned from this season that happened many years ago was that it was God stripping away the arrogance and misguided ways that I was choosing. I was not living for God just living for me and that did not get me far at all.
We must remember that it is at these darkest moments we draw closer to God and he gives us the greatest gifts of all grace and humility. God also reminds us that it is who we are and the gift he has instilled in us is what makes us great. When we have no material things or great status in the world we feel as if we have nothing to offer but that couldn’t be further from the truth because it is when we are stripped of the worldly things that we see the greatest thing we can offer to anyone; Love. Without Love we have nothing. Without love even the richest of the rich are poor.
If you find yourself stripped away and lost, humble yourself before The Lord and he will guide your steps on a righteous path.
